About

A valuable complement to the academic and cultural immersion of a semester or year abroad, an internship in Paris provides meaningful work experience in a student's preferred industry and the opportunity to improve language skills in a business environment.

The Paris Summer Internship program is an extension of the APA Paris program; a semester within the current academic year must be completed prior to participation. At the conclusion of the spring semester, students are eligible to complete the two-month, full-time professional internship. Placements are unpaid, full-time (35-40 hours per week), and take place in a French language work environment.

Often, a general field or area of interest can be approached in different professional environments.  Based on your academic and professional goals, your placement is made to achieve these personal objectives.  Workplace preparation seminars will take place before the internship begins.  An assigned mentor will regularly meet with you before, during, and after the experience.
