A student studying abroad with American Councils (ACTR): Eurasian Regional Language Program (ERLP)
Yes! I feel very connected to academic resources in Georgia and prominent linguists in the country. I also had a great time with my host family. - Florida State University View Entire Review
It was so worthwhile. THe support was great, and I loved every aspect of it. My host family was amazing, and the amount of freedom and support balance was perfect. I grew but also felt that I was taken care of and could ask for help when I needed it. - Stanford University View Entire Review
This program was absolutely worthwhile, even though it was virtual due to the pandemic. I improved my Uzbek language skills and learned more about the local culture. - Georgetown University View Entire Review
It was a great personal development experience in addition to a very helpful linguistic and academic one. I would recommend taking a year to study language and culture to any student with the ability to do so. - University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill View Entire Review
This was a great program perfectly tailored to my language learning needs. I had intensive language classes almost every day of the week, lived with a Tatar-speaking host family, and received amazing support from both the American Councils administration and staff at the local institute. - Indiana University - Bloomington View Entire Review
