About

The AUWCL exchange program with Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) offers students the opportunity to study in an exciting part of the world and at a time of significant legal, social and political change while earning credit toward their J.D. degrees. The Faculty of Law at CUHK was established in 2006 and is located in Hong Kong's central legal and business district. The faculty is known for its high quality teaching and research; many of the school's law professors regularly publish work with top international journals and publishers. Current research at the Faculty of Law focuses on financial regulation and economic development and rights and justice.

Exchange students interested in business law can take classes in a variety of areas including trade, investment, finance, tax and commercial law. The school also offers courses in environmental law, intellectual property law, administrative and regulatory law, and trusts and estates law.

Fall: August - December
Spring: January - May


The official language of instruction is English. Chinese language classes are available for an additional fee.
