Overall Experience
I learned so much about myself and was able to try so many new things with people who were also open to different experiences. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and I felt I grew so much personally as well as in my Spanish skills which was a huge reason I wanted to study abroad. - Salem State University View Entire Review

About

Buenos Aires is one of the most beautiful cities in Latin America with a vibrant culture and heavy European influence. Buenos Aires boasts a linguistic and cultural richness which makes it an optimal city to experience true language and cultural immersion. The academic program offers a wide variety of classes in English and Spanish, such as Contemporary Argentinean Art and Latin America Cinema. Short and long term programs are available for students of all majors, as well as opportunities for volunteering and internships. Unique to Arcos, our program in Buenos Aires also offers the option to add-on a TEFL Certificate program.

Wander the bustling streets and grand avenues of the city, explore the numerous historic neighborhoods and experience the enchanting nightlife that this cosmopolitan city is famous for: tango clubs, cafés, and world-class theaters. The Arcos experience ensures students have ample opportunities to gain rich insight into the country and language by organizing cultural activities and weekend excursions. Students visit an authentic Argentine Cowboy Ranch, experience El Tigre River Boat and Market, and explore beaches and the neighboring country of Uruguay. Students get acquainted with the local culture by touring museums, the Bombonera soccer stadium, and open-air markets such as San Telmo; as well as taking a cooking class, learning about the tradition of Maté tea, and much more. Housing is with carefully selected homestays. All homes have WiFi.
