I learned more French in a day in this program than a year of self-study. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this program for anyone looking to improve their French language skills in a beautiful setting with easy access to outdoor activities. - Brookdale Community College View Entire Review

Past Review Old City Charm
It was worthwhile. Now that I have had that experience I can plan for a future abroad. I learned that I wasn't ready and do not have everything I need. - Truman State University View Entire Review
Definitely gained a better understanding and fluency of the language, but I also gained a much broader perspective of the world. It was great to meet students of my age from other countries, and it was even cooler that French was what really brought us together, out of the necessity of having a mutually speakable language. A better understanding of the French language and culture, as well as the importance of having a host family rather than living on my own for the experience. - Truman State University View Entire Review
Yes indeed. - Truman State University View Entire Review
Absolutely! I learned a lot about France but also about cultures from all around the world since the students in my class were from all parts of the globe. This was my first time out of America and really made me want to keep traveling. I've seen only a small part of the world and this has made me want to keep exploring. - Truman State University View Entire Review

After my program ended in May, I decided to stay the summer too because I loved the area and there's so much that happens in Annecy during the summer. I lived with two French girls and honestly I learned more from living with them than I did going to school for the previous four months. But none the less, I met a lot of nice peo... - College of Saint Rose View Entire Review
I learned to be more relaxed and slow down and enjoy the moment. I learned to be more respectful of others and greeting people I did not know and wish them a good day. French women have such a classy but relaxed style. - Truman State University View Entire Review

I learned what it was like being completely out of my comfort-zone. It was sooo worth it! - Bunker Hill Community College View Entire Review
The experience was definitely worthwhile. I'd never been out of the country, and this was a great way to experience another culture while having the support of a school. I learned a lot of French between going to school all day and interacting with people at night. - Truman State University View Entire Review

I was able to learn a different culture while living in it. I loved that I was in classes with other international students. I made friends all over the world and even got to experience a bit of their culture by hanging out with them. I gained a better sense of who I am because I had to tackle difficult situations while I was ou... - Saint Ambrose University View Entire Review

My experienced has completely changed my outlook and understanding of other cultures. As I mentioned, I learned far more about other cultures than I expected to learn of France itself. My entire experience was extremely informative and influential in my decisions for the future. I will have difficulty re-adjusting to life in the... - Brookdale Community College View Entire Review
