While abroad I was able to challenge myself every day. I had fewer distractions and more time to focus on my studies. On my down time, I was able to explore the city and meet wonderful new people. - Brookdale Community College View Entire Review
I learned to so much about myself. I learned how to manage time more (going sightseeing when you need to be studying), how to navigate public transportation (there's none of that where I'm from), how to be more independent, and so much more!!! - Truman State University View Entire Review

I understand much more about the Austrian culture, and the overall history of Europe and how that in turn affected music and the arts. I truly enjoyed my time in Austria, even though the first block of the semester was insanely busy. - University of Wisconsin - Platteville View Entire Review
I learned much about arranging, cultural businesses, the history of Austria, many great memories with friends, learned much about their education system. It was completely worth my time. It was a shame it went by so quickly. - Illinois State University View Entire Review

I learned a lot about the culture and history of Austria and Europe, which opened up my world perspective. Being on my own in a foreign country with a foreign language, I learned a lot about myself I was unaware of previously. It helped me build confidence and create my own opinions. It is hard to explain what I gained from stud... - Truman State University View Entire Review

This program was worth more to me than I could have ever imagined. About

A major objective of the Salzburg College program is the integration of classroom study and on-site experience. Small classes held in English and a dedicated faculty enhance the individual learning process. Close to 8,000 students from over 400 American colleges and universities have attended the institution. Salzburg is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. With a population of about 150,000, Salzburg is situated in the heart of Europe on the northern edge of the eastern Alps right at the Austrian-German border. Surrounded by picturesque mountains, the city still mirrors in its historical center -- a declared UNESCO World Heritage Site - more than a thousand years of European history and culture. Its rich and vibrant cultural heritage is reflected in concerts, festivals and a great variety of events throughout the year. All of the above make Salzburg the ideal setting for a "European experience." Ideally located for travel, Salzburg is less than four hours by train from Vienna, only two hours from Munich, and an overnight train ride from Paris or Venice. Several Eastern European countries are within easy reach.
