I learned a LOT of geology, and I learned how to deal with unpredictability. Field camp, as rigorous as it was, also taught me that I can do pretty much anything I set my mind to. It wasn't always fun, but it was a good lesson. - Middlebury College View Entire Review

I can learn to do things like longboard, rock climb, hitch hike, yoga---whatever. It's easy to become bogged down in who you think you are, but you're never truly stuck--you can always shake it up. - Barnard College View Entire Review
A ton about the Maori Culture and Geology, also that no one works as hard or cares as much as Wellesley students. YES - Wellesley College View Entire Review

I learnt a ton about geology (which is what I came for) that I would never have been able to learn in a classroom from field camp and I learnt a lot about New Zealand and the South Pacific which was a region I had never been to before or known much about prior to coming here. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
In terms of being a geology major, this program is fantastic. Field camp was very full of learning and stressful at times, but worth it. The semester studies were decent, especially the semester long independent project. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I learned a lot during field camp but the semester was poorly planned. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
