A student studying abroad with GEO: Oviedo - Study Abroad Programs in Oviedo
Loved it. Living abroad really helped me learn more about myself and my place in the world, including how I identify as an American. It couldn't have come at a better time in my life. I gained such a new awareness of other cultures, especially during my travels before and after the program. Traveling within Europe is super cheap... - University of Oregon View Entire Review

This program changed my life and allowed me to be the person I always wanted to be but was unable to be in the United States! - University of Northern Iowa View Entire Review
Past Review Great Program!
My study abroad experience in Oviedo was absolutely worthwhile. It was a great place to study. There aren't very many people who speak English in the city, minus the students, so you will learn and practice your language every time you step out of your door. Many of the professors are good and are willing to help you if you have... - University of Oregon View Entire Review
It's as simple as this, I had no bad days in Spain. I loved the people who were in my group, I still hang out/Skype with people from my group and I plan on going back to Spain ASAP. - University of Oregon View Entire Review
I learned a lot of Spanish and a lot about their culture. My experience was amazing and i would do it all over again with the same people because when compared to the other programs that were in spain at the same time, ours was by far the best. - University of Oregon View Entire Review
The ability and confidence to function independently in a foreign place, a richer cultural and academic knowledge that cannot be experienced through just travels alone, and the world can be a very beautiful place. - University of Oregon View Entire Review
I gained confidence in myself to survive alone while being submerged into a culture alone. I with that I would have lived with a host family instead of in a dorm. - Wheeling Jesuit University View Entire Review
