Georgia Tech-Lorraine is Georgia Tech's European campus located in Metz, France, established in 1990. It is a highly innovative institution offering year-round undergraduate and graduate programs.

The campus offers students the opportunity to study abroad while continuing momentum towards their degree. Transient students or undergraduate students from other universities must be US citizens or US Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) to apply to Georgia Tech-Lorraine and must be currently enrolled in a program of study through a US university leading to a bachelor of science degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students may study on the Lorraine campus in the Spring, Fall, or Summer.

Students will not only be exposed and trained academically but will also have the chance to experience diversity. Georgia Tech has 25,000 student population, most are involved in clubs and different activities. The strategic location of the university allows students to travel independently throughout Europe during long weekends.

Georgia Tech-Lorraine fosters the flow of new ideas, creates new opportunities, and nurtures the development of global leadership and innovative thinking in its students. Over 7,500 undergraduate, masters and doctoral students have spent a semester or more on the Metz campus, enriching their education with a global perspective.
