Travel is convenient thanks to Lille's status as an international railway hub. The Université de Lille has an extensive English department which offers courses for students hoping to take a combination of courses taught in English and French. Lille also offers a tandem course for credit in which students have the opportunity for intercultural exchange through a French speaking partner.
