I plan on returning to LSE for my masters. After that I hope to find a job in London, and plan on spending the rest of my years in England. It is just an amazing place with amazing people. Even though I was only there for a year, I could tell that is where I want to be when I graduate University. - Tulane University View Entire Review
Studying abroad at LSE and living in London was by far the most life-learning experience I have had thus far. Professionally, my involvement at one of the leading universities on earth, within one of the financial capitals of the world, and having interned at a leading investment bank have certainly molded my aspiration to be a ... - Trinity University View Entire Review
I had possibly the best year of my life. I made some life-long friends, got to understand a new culture, and was exposed to so many different people from all over the world. Also, living on your own in a big city forces you to be more independent and mature much faster. It was so difficult to force myself on a plane to come back... - Tufts University View Entire Review
Matured, became more culturally aware, learned how to balance work and play. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was definitely worthwhile. I feel that I learned a lot academically and non-academically and a lot about a different part of the world I was not too familiar with such as Europe, Asia, and Africa. While living in the heart of London it often felt that I was living in the heart of the world. When living in America I can feel t... - Clark University View Entire Review

I learned about numerous european cultures from traveling. I spend a month traveling around Europe with friends, staying in hostels, and meeting locals. It's just wonderful to study in Europe, because everything is a train ride away. Also airlines like Ryanair and Easyjet make it cheap and quick to get to further destinations. Yes. I have learned a lot about myself and about others through this program. It's very rare that one gets the opportunity to study with some of the best minds in the world. It's stressful, but in the end you can proudly declare that you once attended the LSE. Not many can say that. - Clark University View Entire Review

Academically, I think I learned a lot because it was so independent and a lot of the readings were everyday-relevant. Many opportunities opened up for me while I studied at LSE that I don't think would have been available had I not studied abroad. Socially, it was a great opportunity to travel to countries like Italy, Switzer... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I did not have much culture shock nor language problem, because I have visited London several times before. In terms of academics, all the courses I took were very challenging and interesting. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
it is not that I hated LSE, I just did not feel that I was prepared for it. It did push me and I learned a lot, but had to on the fly in order to keep up. London was amazing and I would love to live there again someday. - Tulane University View Entire Review
The courses were great and London was better than any city I've ever been, too. There is always something to do there. I love music and soccer, so it suited me. - The College of William and Mary View Entire Review
Completely. So far it has been the highlight of my college experience. I became completely ingrained in another culture, met the most amazing life-long friends, and became inspirited to continue to step out of my zone of comfort. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

Yes definitely. Although the quality of education was lackluster and much better at my home institution, everything else i gained from the experience made it worthwhile. I had the best year of my life being in London. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

I have learned a lot about London, and its qualities and history. I have learned a lot about English educational system. And I had a great opportunity to study at LSE and had a chance to study with interesting professors, and get involved with interesting organizations. Yes, it was very worthwhile. I gained a better understanding of myself and how to live on my own, and how to adjust to new places. I hope to move back to London someday, and I now feel well-equipped to do so because I know the city pretty well. In studying abroad, I wanted to test myself to live in a foreign country for a year, ... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I think coming to London was a great experience! But i feel that i could have just stayed at OSU and taken the same class for cheaper and probably learned more. - Oklahoma State University - Stillwater View Entire Review

It was intellectually enriching, but the personal growth is what was most valuable to me. It made me more independent, better able to handle myself in adverse situations, and even gave me a better ability to handle money. LSE in particular exposed me to a diverse student body and a different manner of education. - Tulane University View Entire Review
