About

MESA-Peru Winter takes place from January. This unique opportunity integrates an exploration of urban food system projects in Peru's capital, Lima, with hands-on experiences in rural farming in the Andes. This program seeks to equip a new generation of agrarians and food justice activists to rebuild our global food system by connecting sustainable innovation and ancestral knowledge. The program fosters reciprocal, cross-cultural exchanges between participants and MESA Alumni Stewards, forging new links in the global network of sustainable agrarians. The program also serves to restructure travel abroad in a meaningful way.
