About

Students will learn Thai language and Thai/Southeast Asian cultures by attending the summer program at Payap University in Chiang Mai, a modern city often described as the cultural heart of Thailand.  Students may tailor their study by choosing an elective for the second half of the program.   Students will be further immersed in the culture through numerous off-campus excursions and experiences in Chiang Mai and the region.  MSU students will be housed in the newly-built international dorm, most likely with an English-speaking Thai roommate.

The host of the program, Education Abroad Network (EAN) provides a variety of services for students, including an intensive and extensive orientation program to ease student transition into Thailand.
