The NRCSA school in Granada was founded in 1989, and is recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education and by the "Instituto Cervantes", which is the official entity that promotes the Spanish Language and culture throughout the world. Perfection in work and enthusiasm for every task it develops is part of school's philosophy. The school retains membership in FIYTO, BELTA, NAFSA, ALTO, UNION LATINA, AEEM, AMACFE, and AECAE. The school has been certified by CEELE (Certificate of teaching Spanish as a foreign language), authorized by the department of Spanish language of the University of Alcala, Madrid, and the Asociacion de Espanol como Recurso Economico. Students of all levels and ages above 16 years are welcomed into the school's programs, from university students to executives and professionals, creating a culturally diverse and stimulating environment. PROGRAMS STANDARD GROUP • 20 Group hrs/wk • 55 min class hour • 3-12 Students per class INTENSIVE GROUP • 30 Group hrs/wk • 55 min class hour • 3-12 Students per class GROUP + TUTORIAL • 20 Group hrs/wk • 10 Private hrs/wk • 55 min class hour • 3-12 Students per class PRIVATE CLASSES • 20 Private hrs/wk • 55 min class hour • 1-1 Students per class The option to stay in a homestay will enable the student to have a closer look at the Spanish culture and customs while living everyday life with a well selected Spanish family. The school has selected a wide range of families guaranteed to have the student feeling at home and part of the family. The accommodation office always attempts to place students within a short distance from the school: less than 10-20 minutes walk or public transport. Students may choose to have a single or double room and 2 meals daily is included in the cost. 3 meals daily is available at additional cost. Unless specified, the student will never be placed with another student who has the same native language. Price includes towels, bed linens, blankets, and laundry services. There is also the option for student residences as accommodation. Residences are located in the center of the city, 5 to 15 minutes from the school . This gives students the opportunity of living among Spanish and foreign students in a university atmosphere. Choose between a single or a double room (subject to availability) and 2 meals daily. Each option is available upon request and at additional cost. Price includes bed linens and blankets. Student apartments are available upon request and at additional cost. Price includes bed linens, blanket, access to fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, shared bathroom, Central heating, weekly cleaning of the common areas, water, electricity and gas costs.
