SIT Study Abroad: Tanzania - Wildlife Conservation and Political Ecology

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Power and privilege was a big theme throughout the program. Being able to visit the national parks and live in Arusha as a student and a tourist gave me very different perspectives. It was a challenging experience but totally worthwhile. As a political science student I appreciated my time in Tanzania where I learned so much about international environmental politics and global injustices.
