If I could do it 100 more times I would! I think it is extremely important for everyone to study abroad. I have met amazing people, heard awesome stories, and have seen ... Brittney B - Indiana University - Bloomington View Entire Review
Studying abroad is an amazing experience. It is a unique opportunity to be able to live in Europe for four months, traveling to just about any country you want and experiencing different cities, cultures, and cuisines. An unforgettable experience, regardless of what program you go on or which country/city you study in. Scott G - SUNY - Binghamton View Entire Review
About
The Universidad de Sevilla is one of the oldest universities in Spain. Founded in 1551, it now has an enrollment of over 75,000 students. The University of Seville is an institution that provides the public service of superior education by means of studies, teaching, and research, as well as the generation, development and diffusion of knowledge to serve citizens and society. The University houses world-class faculty, particularly in the areas of geography, history and pre-Columbian study. The New Paltz program enables students to take "Cursos para Extranjeros" which are offered by the "Facultades de Filologia, Historia y Geografia" and are taught in Spanish by regular University of Seville faculty. These courses focus on Spanish language and on areas studies of Spain and Latin America. Students are required to carry a full-time academic load (4-5 three-credit undergraduate academic courses). The orientation and field trips are also an integral part of the program. SUNY students are required to attend a workshop each week for 2 hours with a local Spanish faculty member. The purpose of the workshop is to provide an interactive environment where students can practice their written and oral Spanish skills.Class sizes vary but will be no less than 6 and no more than 25. The building where students attend lectures is a renovated historic tobacco factory.
