Shanghai is the epicenter of China’s booming growth and development and offers visitors glimpses into the ultramodern and moments frozen in time. Fudan University provides students with a comfortable campus and base for exploration of this sprawling city. Featuring English courses across a broad spectrum of subjects, Fudan University is a challenging, yet supportive environment in which to study. Students will also receive leading Mandarin instruction from the University of Virginia. Participants are housed in our premier housing, featuring fully-furnished apartments with wireless internet, and are joined by an English-speaking local Fudan University student. Take a moment to meet up with your on-site Resident Director to share stories, head off to see Beijing and explore the Great Wall on an included excursion, and get familiar with your new city during your TEAN Shanghai Orientation program.

The Education Abroad Network (TEAN) Scholarships
The Education Abroad Network Full Ride Scholarship is designed to give a stand-out student the opportunity to study abroad. Studying abroad is a personal journey and the winning applicant will show us not only the journey they’ve been on to arrive at this point, but also the journey they envision studying abroad will entail. This annual scholarship can be used for TEAN program and covers tuition, program fees and orientation orientation (up to $15,000 value).

Guidelines/Requirements:
- Students can apply for a Merit, Need or Diversity TEAN Scholarship by the deadline to be considered. - Must meet the GPA and eligibility requirements for the individual program(s) that they want to attend. - Disbursement can only be applied towards total program fees. Cash disbursements will not be made under any circumstances. - Scholarship applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
