Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
quite shallow, since they enroll people with next to zero experience the first year is basically on a level of a youtube video tutorial |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
any AFDA student would agree that administrative process is the weakest point. A lot of overlays and confusions with a schedule and study process |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The list they provide is fine. Found a good landlord using it. However some positions on the list have wrong prices and incorrect details. |
* Food: |
|
* Social & Cultural Integration:

Everybody are quite outgoing and friendly |
* Health Care:

* Safety: |
Depends where you are from. You might find it troubling at firtst, It takes some time to adjust but once you do it's fine |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Capetown is quite expensive city |

The Academic or LinguistYou went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you! |
