About

Experience this program across the span of three magnificent locations in two countries while being taught by distinguished faculty from America, Ireland and the United Kingdom.  Commencing in mid-May each year, the program is ideally timed following final exams, allowing students to return early to a summer internship, job or even begin a European odyssey of post-program travel across Europe. The program starts in Dingle, Ireland on the Wild Atlantic Way where you will experience stunning scenery, excellent accommodation and experience traditional Irish Culture where many of the inhabitants speak Gaelic as their first language and English as their second.  The program then moves to Ireland’s capital, cosmopolitan Dublin, where you will experience some of the friendliest people on earth and the home of Trinity College, Book of Kells and Guinness.  Then, we cross the Irish Sea to historic Bangor University in Wales, United Kingdom where the people speak an ancient language, full of mystery and beauty in addition to English.  The castles in Wales are of World Heritage Status and are a site to behold.  Bangor Law is ranked number one in “lecturers [that] are great at explaining things and helping [students] understand,” in the UK wide National Student Survey.

The core group of students will be from the University of Missouri-Kansas City but we seek participation from a highly diverse group of visiting students.  Although the program is not exclusive of foreign students, it is unlikely any other country will be represented.
