About

Many U.S. enterprises have expanded to Hong Kong, one of the great trading cities of the world, and the nearby Guangdong Province due to the strong growth in the Chinese economy. It is impossible to discuss business operations without talking about China and the country’s impact on the global economy. You will learn how both service and manufacturing businesses operating in China design their operational strategies to manage their supply chain, distribute goods, meet competitive global standards, and achieve quality and productivity goals. You will research, visit, and interview businesses across different industries in the city of Hong Kong and Guangdong Province on China’s mainland, to better understand how these enterprises operate.
