The University of Bamberg offers two faculties that have several courses that are taught in English - the Faculty of Information Systems and Applied Computer Science, and the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business Administration. If there is prior knowledge of German, students can take courses in the other two faculties at the University - Humanities and Cultural Studies, and Human Sciences and Education. There is a 3-week preparatory course for international students prior to the start of each semester, which includes 60 hours of intensive German courses and orientation.
