Overall Experience
I gained such a deep understanding of Asian culture and more specifically picked up on and learned more about the nuances and differences between Asian countries. - Villanova University View Entire Review
I learned how to adapt to a slightly different culture and take the best from both worlds. It was certainly worthwhile as we did so much more than stay in London. - Villanova University View Entire Review
100% worthwhile. The program itself still has some kinks that need to be worked out. However, Singapore is a fantastic city and a great place to be for business. It is quite different from anything I'd ever experienced before. I gained a new appreciation for various cultures and gained a much greater understanding of global ... - Villanova View Entire Review
The abroad experience was definitely worthwhile. Not many universities allow freshmen to study abroad, let alone intern as well during their first year. Being able to study in a foreign country, immersing in the local culture, and working there is a privilege. The whole trip was wonderful. Going to Singapore was definitely o... - Villanova University View Entire Review
I learned about myself and being more of an individual and the different cultures. It was definitely worthwhile. - Villanova View Entire Review
I learned a lot about how to live alone and in a new place. I also gained a lot of cultural awareness by traveling and just by communicating with immigrants living in London. - Villanova University View Entire Review

It was a fantastic experience! London is a great city with so much to offer, and the program sets us up right in central London is a great neighborhood with free transportation throughout the city. I learned how to be independent, live on my own, travel and do the things I want to do. I got to see so many amazing places across Europe and the UK. London is my favorite city in the world now. Definitely worthwhile. - Villanova University View Entire Review
I absolutely loved my experience in Singapore. It was honestly the best decision I made coming into College. I learned so much about the Asian culture and what it is like to live on the other side of the world. The traveling that we were able to do was incredible to Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indo... - Villanova University View Entire Review
Past Review Life In London
I became much more independent during my time abroad--even more so than at Villanova. I became very comfortable navigating the city, and planning travel/traveling to other cities in a group of students. The internship component also gave me great insight into international business and the Public Relations sector. - Villanova View Entire Review
Cultures around the world are so different and vary so much. It was great to see this firsthand. I have done a lot of traveling in my life but never lived out of the US for this long. It was a great time and the country was a great place to visit. The program was annoying at times and was very difficult to work with, but the... - Villanova University View Entire Review
Yes it was worthwhile! I loved my internship and it might be something I am interested in the future! - Villanova View Entire Review
It was an experience of a lifetime. Between living in London, traveling, gaining valuable work experience, and taking classes in an international setting, I can't think of a better way to spend 4 months. It was very rewarding to experience foreign cultures first hand and to then put in the time to understand why certain cultur... - Villanova University View Entire Review
Independence - Villanova University View Entire Review
I was able to travel Europe and learn just how important it is to me to continue to see the world. This program was most definitely worthwile. The work placement was an incredible opportunity to begin really, really thinking about what career I see myself pursuing and how I want to go about gaining more experience. - Villanova University View Entire Review
Past Review Adventure
One of the biggest things I got to experience was independence; not just from a stable family or house but also from a central university which many simple things were taken care of for me. The independence which the GCP forces you to develop is extremely unique for undergraduate students to experience so early on in a collegiat... - Villanova University View Entire Review
