About

China is an ideal location for learning about international business. It is the world’s second largest economy and the largest exporter of goods in the world. China is also one of the world’s oldest civilizations with a history of nearly 5,000 years. Its rich cultural heritage makes China an excellent location for studying Asian culture.
The Carson College of Business China program is offered in Chengdu, capital of the Sichuan Province located in south-western China. Chengdu has the  reputation as a very “laid-back” city that emphasizes culture and  relaxation. In recent years, Chengdu has attracted a variety of information  technology  multinationals including Intel, IBM, NOKIA, Motorola, SAP, Siemens, Canon, HP, Xerox, and Microsoft, as well  as major international financial institutions,  including Citigroup, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, ABN AMRO, and BNP Paribas.
